In this environment we will learn about the Mayan cosmovision, a civilization that has become a Cultural Heritage of Humanity since 1979.
While traveling through these three countries of the Central American Caribbean, we will enjoy different cultures and cuisine full of exotic flavors. These are flavors that will remain in your palates for a long time.
In addition to the cuisine, this complete tour offers to visit Mayan ruins and the Spaniard colonial cities while traveling and enjoying exotic jungle, majestic rivers and the beautiful sea.

ITINERARY
You will be welcomed at San Pedro Sula International Airport, and will be transported in an air-conditioned bus to the City of Copán. Accommodations at hotel “Copán.”
Among the guests that stayed at the hotel include Queen Sofia of Spain and Richard Gere. The hotel is located 10 minutes from the Maya Ruins.
There will be welcoming refreshments and dinner upon arrival, time off to relax, after dinner.
7:00 am Breakfast at the hotel.
8:00 am Visit to the Copán ruins where you will see the largest collection of Kings, Queens, and Serpent monoliths, Steles, and Priestly Caves. You will be able to explore the tunnels and burial grounds of the royalty. At the park, you will be able to watch all kinds of Macaws and yellow Parrots.
10:00 am Board the bus that will take you to the Paleontological Museum of Estanzuela, Zacapa.
At this museum, you will be able to examine several Maya Kings' burial places and the pre-historical skeletons of pre-Columbian animals.
12:00 Noon Lunch at "El Mesón Español" where you will enjoy your first truly Guatemalan meal.
1:00 pm Leave to Quirigua Site.
2:00 pm Arrive at Quirigua where you will see the largest Steles and Zoomorphic Maya figurines.
4:00 pm Leave to Puerto Barrios.
5:30 pm Arrive at Puerto Barrios. You will board a Water Taxi and sail to Livingston, the most beautiful fishing village in the Guatemala Caribbean. CNN Spanish acclaimed it as the only place to be "al suave" (at ease).
6:00 pm Arrive at Posada El Delfin in Livingston, Izabal where you will be accommodated for the night. Posada El Delfin is the only hotel certified by "Green Deal" WWF in Livingston, and Tui, the German organization for the protection of dolphins.
6:30 pm Dinner at the hotel. After dinner, time off to explore the village.
7:30 am Breakfast at the hotel.
8:30 am Board a boat to tour the Rio Dulce Canyon, one of Guatemala's natural wonders. In the 1700s, this river was sailed by pirates and corsairs like William Parker, Diego "Wooden Leg" El Mulato, Anthony Shirley "the Adventurer," Juan Tatin "the Spaniard," and William Jackson from time to time. You will visit the hanging gardens, the Pioneer's Wall, Tatin Creek, the Hot Water Spring, and the Lake of the Lilies. During your upriver boat ride, you will be able to watch the local fishermen at their craft. At the source of the river, you will visit the San Felipe Fortress, a Spanish fort set to guard the gold going to Spain from pirate looting.
1:00 pm Lunch at Bruno's Marina in Fronteras, Río Dulce.
2:00 pm Return to the hotel for an afternoon of leisure time at the pool or the hotel hammocks.
6:30 pm Dinner at one of Livingston's renowned restaurants, "Margot".
After dinner, you will be entertained by a show of Garifuna dance and music.
8:00 am Breakfast at the hotel.
9:00 am Board a boat that will take you to the Belize lower keys. There you will be able to snorkel, swim, or just relax at the sugar sand beach. Water is tepid underneath the reefs. Our chef will prepare a seafood lunch while you enjoy the sun.
2:30 pm Board the boat back to Livingston.
4:00 pm Arrive at the hotel for an afternoon of leisure time at the pool or the hotel hammocks.
6:30 pm Dinner at the hotel.
8:00 am Breakfast at the hotel.
9:00 am Board the bus that will take you to the Tikal ruins.
2:00 pm Arrive at Tikal National Park. You will be accommodated at the Jaguar Inn, a hotel that stands inside the park.
3:00 pm Leisure time to explore the park or relax at the hotel.
7:00 pm Dinner at the hotel.
5:00 am Sunrise hike. You will climb the highest temple for a 15-minute silence and meditation epiphany. You will participate in the exhilarating experience of sunrise over the canopy of the jungle. You will hear the howling monkeys and listen to sunrise birdcalls.
7:00 am Return to the hotel for breakfast.
8:30 am Guided tour of the Tikal ruins, including the temples, steles, and sacred burial grounds.
12:00 pm Lunch at the hotel.
1:00 pm Transfer to the airport for your flight to Guatemala City.
4:00 pm Arrive in Guatemala City and transfer to Antigua.
6:00 pm Check into your hotel in Antigua.
7:30 pm Dinner at the hotel.
7:30 am Breakfast at the hotel.
8:30 am Day tour of Antigua, a UNESCO World Heritage site, featuring its stunning Spanish architecture and colorful homes.
12:00 pm Lunch at a local restaurant.
1:00 pm Continue the tour of Antigua.
4:00 pm Return to the hotel for some leisure time.
6:30 pm Dinner at the hotel. Rest of the evening free.
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Guatemala City International Airport for your flight back home. Take with you the unforgettable memories of your journey through the historical and natural wonders of Guatemala.
