El Parrandón Kayak Tour

ON THIS TOUR YOU WILL:


Along the coastline of the Pacific of Guatemala, you can enjoy a kayak tour in one of the channels full of mangroves and wildlife. The green vegetation is home to birds like ducks, egrets, White-throated Magpie-Jay, Rufous Wren, Stripe-headed Sparrow, Turquoise-browed Motmot, Inca dove, Orange-fronted Parakeet, Ferruginous Pygmy-Owl, and Pacific Screech-Owl.

While you kayak to the sandbars where the channel meets the ocean, the waters turn clear, and you will be able to swim and rest under the sun before returning to "El Parrandón Village" restaurant for a light lunch.

WHAT TO BRING:

Comfortable clothing, swimwear, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, water shoes or sandals, towel, change of clothes, camera (optional), and cash for personal expenses.

ITINERARY

Leave the terminal on your coaster AC bus and enjoy the cattle farms.

Arrive at the water channel and board your kayak after a short security briefing.

Arrive at the sandbars for a swim in refreshing waters and a 1-hour rest.

Leave the estuary for a restaurant at the village. Light lunch or snack not included.

Leave the restaurant and head back to the terminal.

Arrive at the ship.
